The BOA Handcuff Company,
manufacturers of CUFF-MAXX® was formed by a group of individuals
who believed in the vision of one of its founders. That vision was
to improve the safety for Law Enforcement and Corrections Officers.

Our president combined his engineering
expertise with the knowledge and experience he has gained via BOA's
sister company, the Kenstan
Lock Company established in 1963. This combination has led to
the development of the CUFF-MAXX® retrofit kit. We believe our
High Security Handcuff and Leg Iron Retrofits are the most significant
advancement in officer safety since the Bullet-proof vest.
We firmly believe that the success of our company and the achievement
of our vision hinges on the manner in which we work as a team with
our customers before, during and after they purchase our product.
As and example, the teamwork that was established between Boa Handcuff
and the New York City Department of Corrections during the developmental
stages of CUFF-MAXX® is proof of what can be achieved when business
and government come together to work as one. We are extremely grateful
for the relationships that have been forged and the advancements that
have been made during this developmental process.
We welcome every oppurtunity to work with any agency, both domestic
and abroad to assist in meeting their specific needs. As of January
2004, we have custom made restraints for agencies as close as New
York City and Canada to as far away as Malaysia and The United Arab
Emirates.
